Aesthetics

At Parkside Electrolysis & Aesthetics, I believe beautiful results begin with healthy skin. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I take a holistic, skin-first approach, working to improve your skin's overall health, strengthen its natural barrier, and lay the ideal foundation before considering aesthetic treatments. My goal is to help you achieve a refreshed, youthful appearance with natural, defined facial features that boost self-confidence.

Every client begins with a thorough, in-person consultation. This allows me to understand your skin, lifestyle, medical history, and personal goals, so I can recommend a treatment plan tailored to you.

I believe that taking the time to assess and educate is essential to achieving safe, effective, and long-lasting results.

My philosophy is simple: enhance, never overpower. I don’t treat by age – I treat based on what I observe during facial and skin assessment. Whether your goal is healthier skin, softer lines, or subtle facial rejuvenation, I carefully select treatments to refresh and restore your natural features rather than alter them.

The aim is for you to look like the best version of yourself—healthy, confident, and naturally refreshed.

By combining evidence-based treatments with a personalised, holistic approach, I strive to deliver beautiful, subtle results that age gracefully and last.

Muscle Modulation & Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

My approach to anti-wrinkle treatment focuses on refinement rather than removing natural expression. Using botulinum toxin type A, I carefully modulate selected facial muscles to soften repetitive movements that contribute to dynamic lines and wrinkles. Treatment is tailored to your facial anatomy, muscle strength, movement and natural expression. By reducing excessive or unbalanced muscle activity, treatment can help soften existing lines and reduce continual creasing, allowing the skin to appear smoother, more rested and refined over time.

  • Muscle modulation can also be used strategically to subtly rebalance facial movement and enhance areas such as the brows, lower face and neck, where appropriate, while preserving natural expression. I favour a considered, conservative approach. The aim is not to create a frozen or noticeably "treated" appearance, but to refine the skin, soften lines and achieve a naturally refreshed result that harmonises with your face.

A thorough face-to-face consultation is required before treatment so we can discuss your concerns, assess your facial movement, and determine whether treatment is suitable for you. Every face is different. I plan treatment individually after a consultation and assessment of your facial anatomy, muscle strength, movement, and desired outcome. We'll always discuss and agree on your treatment plan and exact cost before treatment begins.

    What happens during treatment?

After a thorough consultation, I will assess your medical history, facial anatomy and muscle movement, and the areas you want to address. I administer botulinum toxin type A using a series of small, carefully placed injections, tailored to your facial movement and treatment goals. The treatment itself is relatively quick, with minimal downtime for most clients. Aftercare will be provided.

Profhilo Skin Remodelling

Profhilo is an injectable treatment range designed to support the natural ageing process by improving skin quality and, with Profhilo Structura, addressing age-related changes in the deeper facial tissues. Rather than altering facial features or adding volume, I use Profhilo treatments to subtly support and enhance what is already there. After a thorough consultation, I will recommend Profhilo, Profhilo Structura, or a combination of both, depending on your individual facial structure, skin quality, and treatment goals.

I usually recommend an initial course of treatment, followed by maintenance tailored to your skin, age, and individual response.

  • Profhilo Skin Quality and Hydration

I particularly like Profhilo for clients who feel their skin is becoming crepey, less resilient, dehydrated, or beginning to lose firmness, but who do not necessarily want additional facial volume. The aim is subtle improvement rather than an obvious change — healthier, firmer, and more hydrated-looking skin that still looks completely like you. Profhilo can be used on areas including the face and neck to improve skin quality, hydration, firmness, and elasticity. It works within the tissues to support the skin’s natural remodelling processes, including collagen and elastin production.

Because every skin type is different, we'll discuss suitability and your individual treatment plan during your consultation.

    Profhilo – single treatment - £225.00

    Profhilo – course of 2 - £415.00

    Profhilo Structura Facial Remodelling

Profhilo Structura takes facial remodelling a step further by addressing not only the skin but also changes in the deeper facial tissues as we age. Ageing isn't simply about lines and wrinkles. Changes in the superficial facial fat compartments can contribute to loss of support, altered facial contours and a more tired or drawn appearance.

Profhilo Structura has been developed to work within these deeper tissues, activating and supporting fat cells and stem cells and encouraging tissue regeneration rather than filling a space. It uses a high concentration of hybrid hyaluronic acid complexes and is particularly suited to clients experiencing age-related changes in facial structure and soft-tissue support.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, my aim with Profhilo Structura is not to create artificial volume or dramatically alter facial features. Instead, I use it strategically to support facial tissue quality and restore a softer, more naturally balanced appearance. I see this as a treatment for facial restoration rather than facial augmentation — working with the changes that naturally occur with ageing while respecting your individual facial structure.

As with all my injectable treatments, I need a thorough face-to-face consultation and assessment to determine whether Profhilo Structura is appropriate for you.

    Profhilo Structura – single treatment – £295.00

    Profhilo Structura – course of 2 - £540.00

    Profhilo Complete Facial Remodelling Programme

A multi-layer approach to skin quality and age-related facial changes

Facial ageing doesn't occur within the skin alone. Over time, changes can occur at several levels, including the skin and the deeper tissues that provide softness, support and facial contour. The Profhilo Complete Facial Remodelling Programme combines classic Profhilo Skin Remodelling with Profhilo Structura Facial Remodelling, allowing me to address different aspects of the ageing process within a single, carefully planned treatment programme.

Profhilo focuses primarily on skin quality, helping to improve hydration, elasticity, firmness and the appearance of skin that has become less resilient or more crepey.

Profhilo Structura works at a deeper level and is designed to address age-related changes in the superficial facial fat layer for structural lift, helping to support facial tissue and restore a softer, naturally balanced appearance.

By combining the two treatments, my aim is not to add unnecessary volume or alter your facial features. Instead, I take a more considered, multi-layered approach—supporting both skin quality and the tissues beneath. This treatment is particularly suited to clients experiencing a combination of declining skin quality, laxity and changes in facial support or contour.

    What happens during treatment?

Following a thorough consultation, I will assess your skin, facial structure, medical history and treatment goals to determine whether Profhilo, Profhilo Structura, or a combination of both is most suitable for you. Not everyone will need both. I administer the chosen product via carefully selected injection points tailored to the treatment area and your individual needs. Mild redness, swelling, tenderness or small raised areas may occur immediately afterwards and usually settle as the product disperses and the tissues recover. After are will be provided.

Includes an initial course of 2 Profhilo treatments followed by 2 Profhilo Structura® treatments, appropriately spaced.

    Complete programme - £890.00

Polynucleotides - Skin Regeneration & Repair

Polynucleotides are injectable regenerative treatments designed to support the skin’s natural repair and renewal processes. I use Nucleofill, which works within the skin to support fibroblast activity and help improve skin quality, elasticity, hydration, and resilience. I particularly like polynucleotides for skin that is beginning to look tired, thin, crepey or less resilient, and for areas where improving skin quality is the priority rather than adding volume. They can be particularly useful for the delicate eye area, as well as the face and neck. The aim is gradual, natural-looking improvement — supporting healthier, stronger, higher-quality skin rather than changing your facial features.

As with all injectable treatments, we'll discuss suitability and the most appropriate treatment programme during your consultation.

  • Polynucleotides are injectable biostimulatory treatments designed to support the skin’s natural repair and remodelling processes. I use Nucleofill, selecting the most appropriate product and treatment protocol based on the area being treated, your skin quality and your goals. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, polynucleotides are not primarily used to add facial volume or alter facial contours. The focus is on improving the skin’s quality, resilience and overall condition, with results developing gradually.

Polynucleotides are highly purified chains of nucleotides – the building blocks naturally found in DNA. When introduced into the skin, they create a biological environment that supports fibroblast activity and extracellular matrix remodelling, both of which are important for maintaining healthy skin structure. Over time, this biostimulatory effect can help improve hydration, elasticity, firmness and resilience, supporting skin that looks and feels healthier.

I particularly like polynucleotides for clients whose skin is thinning, crepey, less resilient, or generally showing signs of ageing, and for areas where improving skin quality is the priority rather than adding volume.

They can be particularly useful for the delicate eye area, as well as the face and neck, where treatment can be tailored to your individual skin concerns. I particularly like this treatment for the eye area as it allows me to concentrate on skin quality rather than volume top an already delicate eye area.

    What happens during treatment?

Following a thorough consultation, I will assess your skin, medical history and treatment goals to determine whether polynucleotides are appropriate for you.

Nucleofill is administered via a series of carefully placed injections, tailored to the product, area and treatment plan. Small bumps, redness, tenderness or mild swelling may occur immediately afterwards and usually settle as the product disperses and the skin recovers.

Polynucleotides are best viewed as a course rather than a one-off treatment. Your recommended protocol will depend on the Nucleofill® product used, the treatment area and your skin's condition.

Results develop gradually rather than appearing immediately. After your initial course, maintenance treatments may be recommended to help sustain improvements in skin quality.

Profhilo or Polynucleotides – Which is right for me?

Profhilo and polynucleotides are both injectable treatments used to improve skin quality, but they work differently, and I don't consider either to replace the other.

Profhilo is based on highly concentrated hyaluronic acid and is particularly useful for addressing hydration, elasticity, firmness and skin laxity. I often recommend it for skin that is becoming dehydrated, crepey or less resilient, but where additional facial volume is not desired.

Polynucleotides, including Nucleofill, take a more regenerative approach, supporting the biological processes involved in skin repair and remodelling. I particularly like them for improving the quality and resilience of thin, tired or ageing skin, and for delicate areas such as the eye area.

For some clients, the most appropriate approach may involve both treatments at different stages of a personalised skin programme.

You don't need to decide which treatment you need before coming to the clinic. During your consultation, I will assess your skin, facial anatomy and concerns, and explain which approach is appropriate for you. My aim is always the same: to improve and support your skin while keeping the result subtle, balanced and completely you.

Micro-needling

Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the natural healing response and supporting the production of collagen and elastin. I use microneedling to help improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, minimise enlarged pores and improve the appearance of certain types of scarring, with treatment depth and technique selected individually according to your skin and treatment goals.

  • Microneedling creates multiple controlled micro-channels in the skin, triggering a natural wound-healing response. This stimulates fibroblast activity and supports the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin. Over time, this can help improve skin texture, firmness and overall skin quality, and soften the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores and certain types of scarring.

Results develop gradually as the skin remodels, and I may recommend a course of treatments depending on your skin concerns and desired outcome. However, this treatment is ideal as a one-off for that special event or occasion.

    What happens during treatment?

After a consultation and skin assessment, I select the treatment depth and technique based on your skin and the area being treated. I systematically pass a microneedling device over the skin to create controlled micro-channels and stimulate the skin's natural repair response. I select an appropriate professional serum based on your skin and the treatment protocol. Temporary redness, warmth and mild sensitivity are expected afterwards and generally settle as the skin recovers, typically within a few days. Aftercare is provided.

Where appropriate, I may incorporate Dermalux LED Phototherapy after treatment to help calm the skin and support recovery.
